Flying Lanterns by amdprasad

Yee Peng Festival happens on the second month full moon day of the Lanna calender. People celebrate by releasing lanterns into the sky. It happened yesterday and its real treat to be in the middle of that event. This is second time i was there and this time, i concentrated on catching the reflections from the pond.

Frozen in Time by Brains11

Just a square in the city of Sarlat in the Dordogne (France). The old center of this town has been preserved as if hundreds of years didn’t have any influence on it.

A Medieval Fairytale by Brains11

During our trip in France 2 weeks ago we visited the capitol of the Dordogne, a city called Sarlat-la-Caneda. It was as if time stood still. I got the feeling I was stepping into the world of a medieval fairytale. The atmosphere was really stunning to say the least, so beautiful. I tried to capture some of the atmosphere in this shot as we felt it. It was just the beginning of more oohhs and aahhs soon to follow…..
