Camel Rock | Bermagui
Located on the walk to Horse Head Rock lies the more known Camel Rock. Utilising the Lee big Stopper (10 stop ND) I was able to achieve a 15 minute exposure. This was my one and only photo for this location as the stormy clouds were starting to pass overhead.
To take these long exposures you must run in camera noise reduction. This means that if you take a 15 minute exposure the camera won’t be able to show you the image for another 15 minutes (30 minutes total). You can imagine the wait…
With the light conditions it is hard to estimate the correct time to correctly expose an image with the big stopper.
I was ecstatic when the camera finally displayed me the image and it was everything i wanted it to be.
