Die Burg Katz ist eine rechtsrheinische Hangburg in St. Goarshausen, Rheinland-Pfalz.

Eigentlich trug die Burg den Namen Burg Neukatzenelnbogen. Der Volksmund hat das auf Burg Katz verkürzt.

Seit 2002 ist die Burg Katz Teil des UNESCO-Welterbes Oberes Mittelrheintal.

Across the Rhine river you can see the villages Urbar and Biebernheim on top of the Rhine valley and below is the town Sankt Goar.
