Having shot an unbelievable sunset at this beach earlier in the year I didn’t expect to make another visit. However with the low tide coupled with calm surf I figured I’d shoot the tide pools along the shelf of this sea stack.
For three straight days a stream of mid deck clouds poured through the Bay Area. I missed the first day but I made it a point not to miss day 2. I focused primarily on the tide pools getting reflections and using the green sea grass as contrasting colors. As expected the sky burned intensely for over half an hour and was easily one of the best light shows of the year.
