Shot with Canon 5Dmk3 and Canon TS-E 17mm lens. Processed with Photoshop CC 2015, NIK Color Efex Pro 4 on a custom built PC, powered by Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. I used Wacom Intuos Pro to paint the luminosity masks and lighting effects.

‘Time Dilation’

There have been many photos of Dubai captured from this vantage point, but never like this.
What you’re looking at is a mixture of 3 photos, captured at 3 different times; 3am, 6am and 8am. Unlike the usual time-lapse blended stills where mixing is done with simple gradients, this one is blended with layered masks on a facade-per-facade level. The result is surreal, somewhat disorienting and…pretty neat. I think I’m going to do a few more of these and name the style as ‘time-dilation image blending’.
Captured in Jan 2015 with Canon 5Dmk3 and Canon 50mm f1.2L lens. Processed with Lightroom CC 2015, Photoshop CC 2015 and NIK Software.

The Metropolis Building has dominated Madrid´s skyline for more than 100 years. This is one of the most famous buildings in the city. Hope you like its view in locomotion.
