Mt Cook Silver by Timbodon

What better way to close out a year than with an amazing trip to NZ and celebrate one incredible mates Birthday. Although it was a quick 4 days, we managed to power, drink and cuss our way across this stunning country. With Sir Poulton driving and Miss Hatton directing the way, we witnessed many a site and sampled many a brew. OOAK Crew capturing it hard core!

Road to Aoraki by All4Nature

Dear Friends,
Presenting a shot from South Island, NewZealand. It was a spectacular sight to see the sunset over Mount Cook. It had been a dull cloudy evening so far and I thought of doing some long-exposure but just before sunset the sky lit up and we had some amazing cloud formations.
This is shot on the road to Mount Cook village after we cross the Glentanner park.
Coming to the technical aspects, it is a 2 shot picture for depth of field and perspective. The road is shot with a 12mm and the mountains are at 105 mm.
Have a great weekend.

Tree of Life by All4Nature

Dear Friends,
I know, I know and I know.
Not the Wanaka Tree again. But what can I do, I am just in love with the place.
I was there for just a night stay but saw such varied presentations of the place. This one was special, a blue and yellow mix. The Blue sky and the trees lit up with the golden sunlight. This was probably the last few shots I took before packing the memorable morning.
Love the Light
Enjoy your weekend.

Wanaka: Tranquil by All4Nature

Dear Friends,
Presenting another shot from Newzealand. This is from a morning shoot at Lake Wanaka.
This shot is around 5:30am in the morning when I was running with my gear to capture the famous tree but was stopped midway by this scenery. I had scanned the area previous evening and loved the spot.
My greed of reaching the tree quickly stopped me from doing longer exposure, hence the reflections are inverted originals.
Hope you like the scene and the Light.
Have great weekend.

Mahinapua: Quietude by All4Nature

Dear Light chasers,
Presenting a shot from Lake Mahinapua, West coast Newzealand.
I was thrilled to see a jetty after a longtime and what amazed me was the Quietude.
Everything was as still as I had ever seen and the natural reflections and colors were beautiful. It was gloomy yet enticing.
Enjoy the Light.

Good Shepherd by All4Nature

Dear Friends,
presenting another shot from lake Tekapo, Newzealand. The famous Church of Good Shepherd is located a very picturesque location and thronged by hundreds of tourists everyday. It is almost impossible to get a clear shot during daytime but I just got lucky after close to 50 shots.
It was beautiful day and the little cloud formations gave the Church a special look.
Enjoy the Light and stay blessed.

Wanaka;Heavenly by All4Nature

Dear Friends,
Continuing with the NewZealand series.
Here is another take on the shot-to-death location: Wanaka tree.
Well, I seem to be not getting enough of the place and hence went there for a sunset as well as a sunrise. This is sunset and the tree is backlit with birds resting on the tree.
Enjoy the Light.
