Peaceful Waters by dananaylorwalker

This picture was taken on a trip out to North Carolina to try to capture the amazing fall foliage along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The weather didn’t cooperate though with heavy fog every day we were there and only very brief bits of sunshine. So instead of sunrises and sunsets, I started looking for waterfalls. This is one of the most picturesque places we found! Hope you enjoy and if you do, consider following me on my Facebook page at

Dana Walker Studios! Thanks for looking! 🙂

Lake Junaluska Stitch by brownfieldj

On our Fall Colors trip to North Carolina a couple of weeks ago we stayed at a rental in this beautiful little community on Lake Junaluska west of Asheville, NC. So many residents were out taking walks on this beautiful Autumn day. This image is a stitch of 3 shots.

It’s been a while since I’ve uploaded one of Marianne’s. This was from a clear dawn foray during our latest trip where the rising sun started to light the tops of the grasses. A day prior this would have been a frost covered scene but we were elsewhere!. Counting down in 1 month time before we head off for a 2 week south island trip and hope to come back with some of the ‘usual’ shots and some from different locations.

Marianne put some of her field techniques to use in this image! To read more checkout the ebook links below 😉
