Edge of the Night by morganpt

At Tettegouche State Park along the North Short in Minnesota, these two climbers allowed me to photograph them as they made several ascents and climbs up this cliff at Shovel Point. Perched at the edge of the point, I created this composite of several images that were stitched over the course of two hours of shooting from the same point. It’s a precipitous place, so I hope the image conveys the vertigo sensation of being there.

Split Rock 105th Birthday by morganpt

July 31st was the 105th year celebration of Split Rock Lighthouse’s birthday. Though not taken on it’s birthday, this was it’s birthday weekend!!! This image is several long exposure stitched images, which lends itself to some interesting light / color differentials. I hope you like it!!!

Storm Front Advances by edwardreese

This is a long exposure view of a storm front moving over the little lighthouse on the Hudson River near Tarrytown, NY. The forecast called for thunderstorms so we went out there hoping to capture some stormy weather during sunset.

This is a 60 second exposure set up with a 10-stop, ND filter.
