The Promise by AlisterBenn

Taken on the last day we were on Iceland last a few weeks ago, this image has been one of the hardest I have ever put together. 11 vertical frames at 14mm handheld and manually blended, warped and encouraged into this 16:9 image. Handholding it slow enough to get some flow in the water was the least of the challenges!

This is in an area I have been exploring for a few years now, in summer the rocks are carpeted in a fragile moss and the delicate environment t takes some careful handling. In winter, with everything frozen and covered in snow it was actually a bit easier to access.

It’s amazing how things change, nothing is extinguished. Nothing in this world is permanent, once this national park was covered in stunning trees, Acacia Caven, Espino Caven and Chilean Myrtle to name a few. Everything flows onward; all things are brought into being with a changing nature; the ages themselves glide by in constant movement, like the lakes of Patagonia, what happens when the glaciers are gone?

Happy New Year! by tpoulton001

Happy New Year!

Part of the process of beginning anew, or changing directions is to know where you want to go. I know this sounds simplistic and easy, but this is one of the most difficult of choices to make with clarity.

If you wish to be happy right, then it is about time to leave behind your past.

Looking forward to a massive adventurous year, full of travel and amazing light.

Light Dance by cwexplorationphotography

My amazing fiance got me a brand new CF Induro for Christmas so I just had to try it out! Lucky enough for me I was greeted with some of the best light I’ve ever seen in the Central Cascades. It was insane! This is a 6 photo horizontally stitched pano.

Defiance by cwexplorationphotography

Definitely view in full screen!

I’m not normally huge on panoramic photos but this scene really lent itself to putting one together. This shot is comprised of 16 vertical photos shot at 146mm. This sunset was definitely short lived but very memorable! I hope that you’ll enjoy this as much as I do!

Teide & Queen´s shoe by orethorn

One of paradise to see universe is the National Park of Teide, Tenerife, Spain.

This photo is a poor representation of the feel under this sky, watching with naked eye fills us feel around us a vast universe.

The shot is a panorama, 16 vertical pictures (360º) cut to cover only the bow of milky way. A little moon lights landscape. Framing photo, at left the majestic Teide, at right Queen´s shoe, one of the most famous rock formations of the park.

As you can see even in this paradise we got hand of man, that intense light at right of Teide is light pollution of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
