High Five! by dogbreathphotography

Boy oh boy does little miss Dazzle ever live up to her name!!

She is the sparkliest, twinkliest, most joyful ray of sunshine. She simply shines – radiating silliness and happiness outward in every direction as she wags her way across the world. Yes, I do think that Dazzle is the most fitting name possible for this girl and her glittering spirit.

This past weekend, we spent the most perfect sunshine afternoon together – Dazzle and I. The late July summer air was sweeping all around – rustling Dazzle’s fur gently as it would breeze past us. The city was bustling – full of life and love – people passing on every side – all enjoying this perfect fairytale Summer. The sailboats and windsurfers were out in full force on the Charles River and we sat on this dock to watch them a while as the hot sun spilled it’s yellow rays across the water and onto our shoulders. Dazzle was feeling quite silly and playful – and as we laughed and laughed until our stomachs hurt there on the dock, she would show off all her tricks with an impossible enthusiasm. Dazzle liked to reach in for my lens – coming closer and closer with every move – tongue out with an exuberance and comedy that made my sides hurt from giggling. This is my absolute favorite moment of the day – it’s Dazzle in a nutshell – her silliness and sweetness summarized in one perfect, tiny fraction of a second.

HIGH FIVE, DAZZLE! 🙂
