Pools of Darkness by erezmarom

Ominous clouds gathered over mount Flakstadtinden, as the fjord’s waters gushed around the red-colored pools of Vareid. This image was taken on my ‘Northern Spirits‘ Lofoten Islands workshop this January. If you’d like to experience and shoot some of the world’s most spectacular destinations, check out next year’s photo workshops.

Pool Reflections by faizan

This is the Hatta pools area in Hatta, about 100km away from Dubai. This was taken a few years ago and apparently, its impossible to get to this place due to strict border controls (it exists in the no man’s land between Dubai and Oman).

I’ve published a similar photo from this location and day earlier, but this is a new edit and I think the lights and orientation of this (portrait vs. landscape) works much better. At least the wall in my room seems to think so 🙂
