Take A Bite @ Early Light by richardverroen

The Owl was hunting and everytime the bird rested on three different favorite spots in the grassland. I decided to sneak near one of these spots and then wait … and wait … and wait.
It took a lot of time, but the waiting was rewarded. 🙂

This Owl is a dayhunter. It has a yellow iris diaphragm. A orange one is mostly a twilight hunter and a black one is a nighthunter.

‘Honey, Give Me Some Buzz.’ by richardverroen

At sunrise I was hiding to take pictures of Goldfinches. After 2 hours I didn’t have any picture yet.
When I looked in the other direction suddenly a bird of prey was sitting on a pole a little bit further away.
I thought it was a common Buzzard / Hawk.
‘’Well, I don’t see a Goldfinch so why not photograph the ‘Buzzard’ instead?’’
I had to be in a rather strange pose to be able to get shots of that bird, but I did.
When I looked in my viewfinder I saw the yellow eye and the blue-brownish color on its cheek. Wow, that’s not a Buzzard, but a very rare Honey Buzzard!
Those birds are only seen flying high up in the sky and this one is sitting on a pole nearby and did not notice me at all!
It stayed for 15 minutes. What a beautiful day, no what a beautiful week!

Sunset over Jonsvatnet Trondheim by Aziz_Nasuti

Feel free to enjoy the tranquility of Jonsvatnet. Jonsvatnet is a lake in Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway. Most of the lake is in the eastern part of the municipality of Trondheim, with a very small part of the shoreline belonging to Malvik municipality. The lake is the main source for drinking water for Trondheim.

Any comment and feedback will be cosidered and highly appreciated. Please feel free to check my photos here or find me by: |Website| ,|Facebook page| , |Instagram| ,|Google+| ,|Twitter |.

LOST by BenoSaradzic

‘Lost’

One of my archived shots from 2015, re-processed in 2015. I took it in the desert at the outskirts of Dubai during my photo-outing with Colby Brown Photography. Yea, that’s him trying to find his way back home.
I took this shot with a Canon 5Dmk2 and Canon 70-300 mm lens. Processed with Lightroom 5, Photoshop CC 2015 and Nik Collection

Natural mirror of Leirsjøen Trondeim by Aziz_Nasuti

As you can see this picture has been taken in a very calm evening time in Leirsjøen. Leirsjøen is a beautiful Lake/dam close to Trondheim city. Before it was used for water supply of the city. There is five minutes of walking from the main road to this lake as a reason it is very calm and quiet.

Any comments and feedback will be considered and highly appreciated. Please feel free to check my photos here or find me by: |Website| ,|Facebook page| , |Instagram| ,|Google+| ,|Twitter |.
