Don’t look back by JayDaley

For some reason when I was shooting this image I couldn’t stop my mind from drifting back to one of the best books ever written – Oh, the Places You’ll Go by Dr. Seuss.

I remember my devotion to that book as a child and the words within it have carried true:

“You will come to a place where the streets are not marked.
Some windows are lighted. But mostly they’re darked.
A place you could sprain both your elbow and chin!
Do you dare to stay out? Do you dare to go in?
How much can you lose? How much can you win?”

So for those of us around the world celebrating Halloween in a few days time and for the others choosing where to go to next here’s an image dedicated to you.

Just don’t look back and you will succeed? (98 and ¾ percent guaranteed).

View large and, as always, thanks for looking!

Post Note: I’ve had a few people contact me to ask how this shot was put together so ill throw up a little ‘making of’ on my Facebook site soon for those who are interested.

Mirror Of Life by MickFuhrimann

I’m not a newborn baby photographer but when one of my models approached me about taking some “creative” maternity images…. I was up for it! Image of mother / model Leah-Jane and her little son Jasper-Phenix.
