The word aeon , originally meant “life”, “vital force” or “being”, “generation” or “a period of time”, though it tended to be translated as “age” in the sense of “ages”, “forever”, “timeless” or “for eternity”. Although the term aeon may be used in reference to a period of a billion years (especially in geology, cosmology or astronomy), its more common usage is for any long, indefinite, period.

This is an image from my hiking tour last weekend to the mountain “hoher göll” in the bavarian alps in Berchtesgarden. We had a short break at this place to watch and enjoy the sunrise above the mountains towars us. The whole landscape was covered in fog and it was so beautiful to watch the golden hour. This is the first image of my mountain series. Shot this one really really early in the morning last weekend during my stay in “Berchtesgarden” (Europe/Germany/Bavaria). I had an overnight stay at a small lodge up in the alps and from there i captured this stunning sunrise between the mountains. Moreover i did some exhausting hiking tracks, climbing and of course photographing. So a few other images will follow soon.
