Moonset Sunset Sunrise by stiann

The sun and the moon seen side by side as the sun dips just below the North Sea horizon before rising yet again, effectively making the sunset/sunrise into one single 3 hour event. Shot at midnight on the shortest night of the year on the far western Norwegian coast. Only minimal editing was done in an attempt to represent the actual scene. Press M for full resolution.

Recent Past by stiann

What you see here is a traditional Norwegian farm with authentic wooden buildings dating back up to 500 years. As for the tech, this is a 240 degree panorama bracketed for dr, focus and sharpness with the added complication of a flare free scene with the reasonable clean sunstar.

Into the Wild by stiann

A view into a narrow fjord passage in western Norway. The salt water here is some 200 kilometers / 125 miles inland from the Atlantic Ocean. Captured only a minute before a heavy rain storm hit.

A straight forward shot taken on a summer morning at a Norwegian fresh water lake. Shot with cpl and soft gnd. Hardly did any post processing here, sometimes you can only degrade what nature presents you with. 🙂

It’s uploaded fairly large, press M if you want to see more detail. Thanks for stopping by, any feedback appreciated!
