Now it is a family of four waterlilies, more are coming. Might be due to our extreme high temperatures of 40°C/ 104°F….

Water lilies have a long history as a cultural and crops. The Egyptian lotus flower was drawn as early as 2000 BC in the Egyptian temple gardens. Along with olive, willow and Papyrus it was often used as grave jewelry. The tubers of the Egyptian lotus flower were used as a drug.
