My amazing fiance got me a brand new CF Induro for Christmas so I just had to try it out! Lucky enough for me I was greeted with some of the best light I’ve ever seen in the Central Cascades. It was insane! This is a 6 photo horizontally stitched pano.

Unexpected Northern Lights by connorsurdi

I was out showing some friends the Milky Way because they have never seen it before….I mentioned that a few months ago I “saw the Milky Way on accident” while shooting and how crazy that was. Well, it happened again. We both were looking into the distance and said, “do you see those light beams?” and then after 30 seconds, we looked at the LCD and saw this incredible scene. These are the moments that make me so in love with photography.
