Here’s a shot taken from our trip to Utah a month ago. We wanted to test out the 2-person bivy we got from Miles Gear (Uber bivy) and we thought probably one of the best place to break it in is in the high desert! Woke up at 5AM in the 30 degree weather, feeling really cozy inside the bivy that I actually had to force myself to get up. The forecast was clear, which we didn’t mind because what’s best about this place is that there is so much abstracts to shoot that you are not at the mercy of dramatic skies. The vast, open space surrounding this butte is a real treat for anyone craving for solitude.

Many thanks everyone for all of your wonderful comments, votes and favs on my ‘Gathering in the Harvest’ image.

My last image for a couple of weeks as we are off to the Lake District and hubby has a footplate experience that way so he is getting really excited.
