After a three-hour hike, we did this summer, we were able to enjoy this fantastic view of the Schrecksee at 1813m. During the climb, it was still very cloudy, but when we reached the top it cleared up and the sun showed up for a short time.

Das Neue Rathaus ist eingebettet in den zehn Hektar großen Maschpark am Südrand der Innenstadt, außerhalb des historischen Stadtkerns von Hannover. Der Platz vor dem nach Nordnordost weisenden Nordflügel heißt heute Trammplatz, ist eigens im Zusammenhang mit dem Rathausbau angelegt worden und erhielt seinen Namen nach dem damaligen Stadtdirektor Heinrich Tramm. Die Südseite des Gebäudes ist dem Maschteich zugewandt.
