Red Hot Steel Circle by eetschman

it came out even more red than this so i had to tame the colors .. almost blinding .. i know steelwool is not for everyones eyes so its for the once who know me i have to steel wool it 8) .. the great thing on this one is the flair i got here without actually planning and the milky way .. plus to extra people watching the secene … there was pretty much noooo editing to it .. SOOC so to say

the photo was taken at the paria town sight .. there is nothing left but a parking lot and a old movie set .. awesome colors in the rock formation .. at this spot i had the best BBQ ever !

Dancing in the Night by MajeedBadizadegan

Like my Facebook photography page!!!

Definitely best viewed on black.

This is the first time I’ve had the opportunity to see the aurora and it did not disappoint. The aurora forecasts indicated the chance for a strong storm. So a few friends and I made the trip in the middle of the night on Jun 22 for a chance to see this.

I’ve seen so many photographs of the Aurora, but there is no substitute for being there. The columns of light were visible to the naked eye, it blew my mind. I thought I was seeing things.

It required a longer exposure to pick up the colors, as the color was not visible to the eye. This was shot at a longer focal length to keep the mountains prominent.
