Autumn colors in Stockholm by DagurJonsson

I went on a short trip to Stockholm last weekend. I was so fortunate to be able to take some autumn shots which gave the city a very nice scenic look.

The Royal Library in Stockholm by DagurJonsson

I am back to Iceland with lots of shots from my weekend trip to Stockholm, Sweden. For me as a photographer I really loved to try to shoot something different then I see here in Iceland. For artistic reasons I therefore have to post some Swedish photos with Iceland everyday shots over the next weeks. Here is one from Humlegården which is a major park in Östermalm in Stockholm. It is the location of the Royal Library and in the centre of the park is a large statue of Carl von Linné, better known as Linnaeus.

Your chance to help. Frälsningsarmén (The Salvation Army) is one of a number of organisations on the front line of homelessness. They are the lifeline for many. I’ve teamed up with them to produce a series of portraits that you can own. Bring a homeless person into your home. 100% of the sales revenue goes to help keep this lifeline available on a daily basis.
With winter and Christmas approaching now is the time for action. You *can* make a difference.
I need you to “like” the hell out of this posting. Buy a print. Help! If my images portray anything…it’s the fact that we shouldnt look away.
As ever, I appreciate your support.

Summer came to an end and before I returned home, to the city where I live, I decided to visit Stockholm.
After doing some research, I found that it has got an Underground with several stations with very strong colours and artistic artowrk painted on the walls.
The station that most caught my attention was “Solna Centrum”. Going down the escalators and then looking at them, you have the feeling you have come to Hell.
