The luscious Grotto by StefanHefele

“The luscious Grotto” – Azores

There are still locations that are not mentioned in the (German) tourist guides but are definately worth a visit. I was thrown back into the Columbia River Gorge as I entered this green cathedral. Lush, green, mossy and everywhere sounds of nature around me. One of my favourite natural landscapes to take photos beside mountains.

Winter Fairytale by StefanHefele

“Winter Fairytale” – Neuschwanstein Castle – Bavaria
m
I continue with the winter wonderland. Did I mentioned that this castle represents an incredible inspiration?! Not only Disneyland took it as a model. It is probably the most famous object of Germany. Not undeserved.

The Winter Empire by StefanHefele

“The Winter Empire” – Bavarian royal Castles

Neuschwanstein Castle is one of the man-made objects that fits like a painting into the landscape. Created by the eccentric King Ludwig II, it stands for genius, fairy tales and also madness.
Covered with the first snow that was a fantastic introduction to the winter season for me.

Kingdom of Myths by StefanHefele

“Kingdom of Myths” – Carpathians / Slovakia

Most time I´m in search of fog. On my last tour there was no need for searching. I was blessed with dozens of foggy moods. That morning in the colorful carpathian mountains was one of the rare moments we were also able to witness some blue skies.

Alpine Treasure by StefanHefele

“Alpine Treasure” – Dolomites

Isn´t it mindblowing when mother nature drives at full speed?! What I was able to experience here in the Dolomites is so unique. Like a tribute to our planet with all its fascinating facets. It´s not only the place itself, it´s also the track that leads to this pearl that took my breath away at times.

Hidden Crater Lake by StefanHefele

“Hidden Crater Lake” – Tyrol – Austria

Deep in the wooded valleys of Tyrol lies this round and crazy-colorful crater-lake. No track leads to the edge of this little pearl. While dark clouds moved across the sky that evening, the last light of the sun could dip the horizon in a bit of color for a moment. What a valuable discovery for me.
