Waiting for Illumination by TrevorAnderson

Light creeps over the shoulder of Enchantment peaks and slowly begins to illuminate alpine larch and a chilly basin below. Taken in the Enchantments located in Washington state’s Alpine Lakes Wilderness.

I made some adjustments to this image as the recent changes in weather and early fall colors in the mountain had me in the autumn mindset.

Summer Pastels by TrevorAnderson

I updated this one with some more natural processing than my less tactful approach formerly. This was taken last year when there was actually flowers out in late July and August. It is going to be odd adjusting my expectations to the calendar while hiking for the remainder of the summer.
