The luscious Grotto by StefanHefele

“The luscious Grotto” – Azores

There are still locations that are not mentioned in the (German) tourist guides but are definately worth a visit. I was thrown back into the Columbia River Gorge as I entered this green cathedral. Lush, green, mossy and everywhere sounds of nature around me. One of my favourite natural landscapes to take photos beside mountains.

Jungle Fever by StefanHefele

“Jungle Fever” – Azores

I sat in my little apartment looked a bit silly in the sky and then on my clock: Only 2:30pm…
I would still really like to meet a jungle adventure today. Said and done. After an hour’s drive uphill, downhill, uphill, downhill, and so on, I finally reached a valley that was cut into an old volcanoe. After some scrubby jungle I reached this stream and carefully waded upstream with some Tarzan-like performances at the river´s edge..
This is the result.

Ferned Up by JeremyDuncan

Something a bit different from the False Hellebore images that are quite popular to shoot in the spring/early summer. Shot while backpacking through the Mount Baker Wilderness earlier in the year.

Thanks for looking!

Schleierfall (Veil Waterfall), Austria by mariadraper

A pretty waterfall on the road leading to the town of Kals Am Grossglockner, Austria.
A better angle of this waterfall, and perhaps a better image overall, is here http://ift.tt/20KDNFm

Phantasia by StefanHefele

“Phantasia” – Dolomites

Back from a short but intense trip to the Dolomites I was able to catch the first autumn colors. I´m not a fan of blue skies, but once there I had to deal with it. While hiking the whole day I enjoyed this soft and warm light at afternoon before the cold of the night broke in at 2200m. Thanks to my brother for having a great time outdoors.
