This panoramic picture is put together from 9 vertical photos. It was a perfect December night. Cold, crisp air. Dead still sea, giving perfect reflection. The northern lights curved nicely above the mountain ridge.
This is also a very wide picture, over 8000 px. Well suited for large prints

Sortland Bridge is a cantilever road bridge that crosses the Sortlandssundet strait between the village of Strand on Hinnøya island and the town of Sortland on Langøya island. It is located within the municipality of Sortland in Nordland county, Norway. The bridge is 948 metres long, the main span is 150 metres, and the maximum clearance to the sea is 30 metres. The bridge has 21 spans.

Otervika.. by holofoten

Made this panorama a few days ago, visiting Otervika (Andøya, Norway). This location is very special, with a fantastic beach surrounded by spectacular mountains. And the view towards Bleiksøya is just wonderful. This island is uninhabited, only hundreds of thousands birds live happily there, among them puffins.

What a glorius sunset it was 🙂
Actually we are standing 300+ meters above sealevel, you see the fog on the left, well that is covering most of the sea and yes it was quite alot 🙂 at first i thought i would use my son for scale but i did not have the nerve to do it! Falling 300meters is not gonna happen LOL 🙂

This is pretty much the essence of what i want to achieve in my photography. To get to this spot i fought my way up some pretty scary mountains with snow reaching my waist. I could barely feel my feet when i turned around and out of nowhere this scene revealed itself. I was awestruck! I dont even know the name of the mountain, its somewhere between Lofoten and Vesterålen.
