Victorian Times by annie7

I took this image on my visit to Blists Hill Victorian Town. I wanted to try and create an image that gave the impression it was taken back in the Victorian times, I hope I have achieved that.

Blists Hill Victorian Town, originally called Blists Hill Open Air Museum, was opened in 1973 and has been slowly growing ever since. The museum’s buildings fall into one of three categories: buildings that were already part of the industrial site (the brickworks), buildings that simply represent a generic type (the sweet shop), some adaptively reusing existing premises on site or being replicas of those still standing elsewhere and original buildings that have been relocated to the museum (The New Inn public house, which originally stood between Green Lane and Hospital Street in Walsall).

Homeward Bound by sandtasticdays

Counting down the days, can’t wait to visit beautiful England, family, friends and my first ever visit to scotland. Hope the sunshine holds.

COVERT HARASSMENT – PLEASE READ the campaign of harassment continues – there is clearly someone covertly contacting my 500px followers and peddling sufficient untruths to persuade noticeable numbers of people to unfollow me. All the evidence strongly suggests that this is the very same person who plagiarised one of my pictures in every possible detail and submitted it to competitions and magazines, and harassed me with unilateral abuse and threats by email over 15 months until they were informally and then formally warned for harassment by the Metropolitan police. The covert phase of this harassment seems to have started in at around the time of these warnings in Feb March 2015 – assuming I am correct, this deeply untruthful and unpleasant individual (eg. they stated that they had “sorted me out” to their Facebook followers in the wake of receiving a formal police warning) has now been targeting me in one way or another for 18 months. The pattern of unfollows suggests that this person has been in action over the last 24 hours. No need to say anything other than to comment on the above picture (if you so feel inclined) if you haven’t been contacted by this self-evidently unhappy individual. If you have been contacted, I’m all ears obviously so please message me privately with discretion 100% assured. Thanks all for your continued support.
