Stepping Away by DaniloFaria

After spending 10 days on the heart of the Colorado fall, I need to “step away” from my fall shots to not get overwhelmed… well, let’s go back to the canyon I like most. A beautiful day at Kanarra Creek, nothing else to be said…
Thanks you for stopping by and your feedback!

Transformation by DaniloFaria

~Transformation is a process, and as life happens there are tons of ups and downs. It’s a journey of discovery – there are moments on mountain tops and moments in deep valleys of despair.~

Very late and dark evening at the bottom of Mooney Falls, Havasupai Reservation. The sheer size (195 ft/59 m), colors and wind generated from this wonder of nature are surreal. This location was very challenging for LE photography, mist and water constantly hitting the lens/filter. Thank you all for your support!

Less Traveled by DaniloFaria

~Two roads diverged in a wood and I – I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.~ Robert Frost
The last sun kisses Gothic Mountain in a very pleasant fall evening… the fall colors, the fresh air, what a bliss. Thank you all for your continuous support!

The Mill of All Mills by DaniloFaria

When I first saw an image of this location 5+ years ago I said to myself: I need to personally see this place one day. Well, after many years of postponing and planning, I finally reached my goal. It was a few days past fall peak, but it did not disappoint at all. It is so surreal, I can only imagine when it was first built in 1892… Thank you all for your support!

Summer ends, and Autumn comes… by DaniloFaria

Havasu Falls image taken in late November and the fall colors were not “full blast” yet, however still very pretty. Thank you all for your support and visits!

ThE EnD Is NeaR by DaniloFaria

~No matter what you’re going through, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel and it may seem hard to get to it… but you can do it, just keep working towards it and you’ll find the positive side of things.~

Some people ask me why is this canyon so special? First of all, it is one of a kind, second of all, images do not make justice how beautiful it really is, third of all, even after you go there many times it still does not look real…
Hiking this canyon with my “partner in adventures” was the most peaceful, incredible and surreal experience I’ve ever had! This spot marked the end of our hike on Kanarra Creek Canyon, the wooden stair that once let people further was totally broken. I can only imagine what’s beyond that fall… you can follow her work at http://ift.tt/1yzzOAc

If Tomorrow Never Comes by DaniloFaria

Still one of the favorite places I’ve ever seen… miss it very much! After an accident that will make me miss lots of time in the wild, I offer you a “bit of wisdom”.
Many people “avoid” the classic shot because they say “it has been done so many times, I’ve seen it a thousand times, I will go back there anytime I want…. blah blah blah…” well, classic shots are classic for a reason! THEY MATTER, that’s why they are classic! Take the classic shot every time you can, you never know what tomorrow brings.

The Racetrack by DaniloFaria

I am not sure if you have or have not used the new Dehaze filter within Photoshop CC Camera Raw, but I am super excited how well it works…
A typical day at “The Racetrack” (near The Wave) with beautiful blue skies, but a “rebel” cloud decided to show up… Thank you all for your support and visits!
