And another photo I have taken few months ago in my hometown Weinheim during a walk with my girlfriend in the fields few minutes away from our house!

It was a nice sunset and so I decided to add some foreground subject that acts some kind of contrary to the bright orange light. I like the result!

And another one from yesterday’s exploring session in Weinheim, Germany. What you see is our local stone quarry which is still heavily in use. It was a sunset at this time and I wanted to keep the light as it is by that time not lifting the brightness too much in postprocessing. The photo is NO hdr. Thanks to the dynamic range of my XT-1 I can easily boost shadows.

This was shot few hours in a small neighborhood town Birkenau, Germany. It was not easy to get there as we had to enter a private property and climb through some shrubs and old walls. So happy I got this and it was worth it!

This has been of my first shots as I have received my XT-1 beginning of this year. It is shot in my hometown Weinheim, Germany during Winter. I made some experiments with the ISO to get a feeling what I CAN do and what I should avoid.

And another shot I have taken whilst having a teaching session with my friend. This is NO HDR photo. I have boosted contrasts to get this dark feeling and lowered saturation a little bit. I am always impressed of how much tone and dynamic you get out of the XT1 sensor.
