This time of year one tends to reflect over past years and memorable experiences. One of my favorite times was when Fab Forns and I went to Cody , Wyoming and filmed the big horned sheep and then were fortunate enough to see the incredible beautiful mountain foxes of Wyoming. They were a thrill to see and awesome to photograph !! It was a great trip and great fun and great company !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful But Deadly !!!!!!! by judylynn

The eyelash viper is so beautiful to see but very poisonous and one is very careful not not get too close. They bare indigenous to Costa Rica but not seen very often. On my numerous trips to Costa Rica I have only seen one once. They are named because of what appears to be their long beautiful eyelashes. It was a thrill to see and photograph this striking creature of the rain forest but glad there was plenty of distance between him and us.

The white throated hummingbird perched for a moment giving me an opportunity to capture him before flying off again. They are smaller that some of the other species found in Costa Rica but vibrant in color and extremely active.

In The Garden !!!!!!!!!!!!
This beautiful green crowned brilliant hummingbird was flying around the gardens and it caught my eye. So small but so very beautiful. Costa Rica has so many beautiful species of hummingbirds but I think this one is one of my favorites. I particularly am drawn in by his beautiful eyes. Hope you enjoy him as much as I do.

This little male red-legged honeycreeper seemed to be in deep thought when I took this image . They are so beautiful and so vibrant that one is just mesmerized by their beauty ! I had seen them before but never quite this close. It was awesome !!!
