The combined trail to Litlanesfoss and Hengifoss is 2.5 km (1.6 miles) one way, with an elevation change of at least 300 meter (985 feet). It could take about 3 hours round trip on average with rests and photo ops to complete the hike ,but the views are simply incredible

Hvítserkur is a 15 m high basalt stack along the eastern shore of the Vatnsnes peninsula, in northwest Iceland.
The rock has two holes at the base, which give it the appearance of a dragon who is drinking. The base of the stack has been reinforced with concrete to protect its foundations from the sea.Please Visit me on Facebook!.

Godafoss waterfall by YiannisPavlis

Back from a 2 weeks trip in Iceland ,travel around and cover over 4000 kl ,we stopped in Godafoss We were able to experience this waterfall from both sides of its banks. The east bank seemed to provide a great deal of flexibility in terms of how we were able to view the falls. The west side seemed to yield fewer views but at this time the light was better .It was around 11 o clock an hour before the midnight . Please Visit me on Facebook! .
