Belchite XI by carlos_santero

Between August 24 and September 7, 1937, loyalist Spanish Republican and rebel General Franco’s forces in the Spanish Civil War fought the Battle of Belchite in and around the town. After 1939 a new village of Belchite was built adjacent to the ruins of the old, which remain a ghost town as a memorial to the war.

Zaragoza by clgam

Please view on a black background (press ‘H’ then ‘M’ to maximize).

Zaragoza is the capital city of the autonomous community of Aragon, Spain.
You could see in the right part of the image the Basilica–Cathedral of Our Lady of the Pillar (Nuestra Señora del Pilar), the Stone Bridge (Puente de Piedra) across the river Ebro, and in the left side the tower of the Cathedral of San Salvador (La Seo)
