Arthur’s Pass, New Zealand

A view of Mt Rolleston (2275m) from above Arthur’s Pass.
I got pretty miserable weather during the 3 days I spent in Arthur’s Pass. My main goal was to climb to the top of Avalanche Peak (the snow capped peak to the left of the Mt Rolleston). I attempted the climb twice but both times was forced back due to extreme winds, zero visibility and avalanche risk. I guess it will have to wait for another trip.

Key To The Fiords by Dylken

Key Summit, New Zealand

The highest peak in the Fiordlands of New Zealand, Mt Christina (2474m) along with the Crosscuts and Mt Lyttle reflected in a small alpine tarn during morning twilight from Key Summit.

Nothing too fancy here just a simple 3 image focus stack to get the foreground nice and sharp.
