Lake Tekapo in Memory by AtomicZen

In my memory of the Lake Tekapo, New Zealand, “Russell Lupine” that flowered around Church of the Good Shepherd was very beautiful. The Lupine came in a variety of colors, such as orange, pink, blue, and purple. Because of its beauty, this location has become a popular place, drawing a lot of visitors around the world to look at. Unfortunate, to take photos, some travellers were reckless to unintentionally destroy the Lupine by sitting, standing, or even sleep over it. As a consequence, we have witnessed that the amount of the Lupine has been lessening progressively. Recently, I meant the beginning of this December; a couple of my friends revisited this location. They all agreed that the magnificent of the scenery gone. Lupine around the Church, expected to flowers and sets seed in the beginning of December, is much lessen than before. So sad if the situation would be deteriorating in next year. So, I reviewed my NZ photos taken last in 5 years ago and re-process them. I hope that when some travellers and photographers see this photo, they will aware of and take this issue in their consideration before unintentionally harming the Lupine around Lake Tekapo. Thanks for reading and warm supporting.

Springtime Rush of Lake Tekapo by PatrickMarsonOng

Aha! Dug through some old files and found this taken waaaay back 2012, it was my first visit to New Zealand.

This is a two exposure shot blended together. 100 seconds for the sky and a quick one for the foreground.

It’s gonna be lupine season in a couple of weeks and south island’s gonna be more colorful!! 😉 Wish I could just beam myself there! Amazing, yeah?!

Wishing you all a great week! Cheers!

Oh, accidentally typed an extra 1 on my watermark! Lol!
